A pack of 6 nano sized lotus pods. These mini lotus pods are roughly the size of a quarter which makes them a convenient fit for many enclosures!
Added to the top layer of substrate as a decorative item in many enclosure builds, these little seed pods add interest, can be a beneficial bacteria surface as well as a great hiding and enrichment area for springtails and isopods.
When placed in a shrimp or black water fish tank, these little pods will release beneficial tannins into the water, as well as provide surface area for bacteria and algae to grow which will then make it a popular are for shrimp and snails.
While we do heat treat these seed pods for their usage in bioactive enclosures for reptiles, amphibians and land dwelling invertebrates we recommend to boil them for 20 minutes or soak them overnight before adding them into your fish tanks to ensure they will sink and be dust free.
