-Shipping Information-

Shipping of live animals is done every Monday and Tuesday to ensure that your new invertebrates get to you in the quickest and safest time possible.

We will ship dependent on the weather in our location, as well as yours. If temperatures are between 48-88 degrees Fahrenheit orders will be sent out. If the temperatures are out of this safe range, we may still ship but will have the isopods held for pickup at the closest UPS or USPS facility to you.

To further ensure the viability of our animals, we package them securely in deli cups with added ventilation on either fresh sphagnum moss or paper towel (dependent upon species). These cups are added into USDA approved shipping boxes with .5" foam insulation on all sides and Cyropaks, or ice packs surrounded by shipping paper. We ship from South Florida nationwide and we rely on the co-operation of our weather and yours to ensure shipping is a success. We have provided a live weather feed below for transparency on our end.

Thanks to our shipping methods, we rarely have any DOA. We do have a live arrival guarantee that is dependent on your choice of shipping method.

In the event that you do have any animals arrive deceased we will evaluate whether or not to refund or re-send your order. If your order is to be reshipped, we will do so following the same shipping option you have chosen. We are not responsible for customers choosing the cheapest method of shipping. As a hobbyist you should know that cheaper is not always better, especially when shipping living animals. If you would like to upgrade your shipping option to ensure the viability of your animals, we will bill you. Upon payment the reshipment will be sent on our regular shipping days.

Shipping of bioactive supplies including cork, leaves and any other additive is done bi-weekly. We ask for up to 3 business days to process your order.
