Hard Wood Pellets 8oz

Decaying wood is an essential nutrient to all isopods. Our hard wood pellets contain a blend of Oak, Aspen, Apple and Alder woods without any other by products or glue to hold them together.

By soaking these pellets in water they quickly loosen into sawdust that your isopods can immediately consume with ease. These hard wood pellets are food grade but not to be consumed by people. We use the wood from these pellets mixed into every enclosure that we keep, as a way to bulk up the nutrition in our substrate. Along with isopods, many of our millipedes that we keep also enjoy the hard wood pellets once broken down.
