- Prefers semi-tropic to tropical environment.
- Can grow up to 1.5 centimeter
The Cubaris sp Red Edge is one of the more prolific and active cubaris species, second to the Cubaris Panda King. These little isopods are more hardy when being kept in captivity and make great terrarium inhabitants or desk pets. The addition to different sources of calcium, such as cuttlebone, oyster shell and limestone can be extremely beneficial. These isopods like a more humid enclosure and do well in temperatures ranging from 75-85 F. They have small to midsize broods that hide until their 4th or 5th molt.
