This Cubaris is a well breeding variety. They vary from a deep grey to a light base with dark stripes and an overall purple sheen. these animals are wider in comparison to many other isopods, adults may reach a total length of nearly 1.5cm as well. Their skirt dives deep and splays out the side, giving them an elegant appearance.
The isopods need a layer of deeper substrate (4" or more), lots of decaying organic matter, a generous offering of calcium, some protein, and an overall moist setup. We have noticed the Pigeons are a more active Cubaris species, comparable to Panda Kings. This cubaris species also seems to breed very regularly with decent sized broods.
